VISIT TO “ORNAMENT = CRIME?”
A proposal by Rocío Pérez with the performers Sandra Gómez and Santi de La Fuente
“In the ornamental, like in abstraction, it is the mise en relation of the forms that gives it meaning”. – Nuria Enguita
A feeling always involves a journey, and for this reason, in order to cross the exhibition Ornament = Crime?, we propose a guided visit led by two dancers who will approach the artworks on display by allowing them and their surroundings to transform and pierce their bodies. An open corporeity full of ephemeral sensations generating relations between the visible and the invisible, the distance and the proximity, the masculine and the feminine, the focused and the unfocused, the whole and the detail, the concrete and the abstract…
Performers will share this common space of creation with the audience: a relational, sensitive, and affective place activated by the experience of the observant; a corporeal experience that will enrich the view of the visitors.
“Meaning is the result of a relational staging”. – Edmond Cros
