FIRST PROPOSAL: “Bleda y Rosa. A Geography of time” by Enric Mira

Apart from representation, images involve imagination and always interpretation, therefore discourse. Current exhibitions Bleda y Rosa. A Geography of Time and Ornament = Crime? will be approached from different disciplines such as history, anthropology, philosophy, sociology, cultural studies, literature, art theory and even art history and photography themselves.
Professors and collaborators of the Master’s Degree in Photography at the Universitat Politècnica de València will give their views, interpretations and fantasies on the artworks on display, offering not only a multidisciplinary approach to these images, but also introducing new perspectives from which to look at them.
Valentí Roma, Enric Mira, Alex Düttmann, Laurence Rassel, Jean-François Chevrier and Antonio Ansón, among others, will participate in these encounters. These visits are coordinated by the Master’s Degree in Photography at the Universitat Politècnica de València.
