INFORMATION
Vale – Vene Tast was a tasting that proposed a symbolic journey between Venice and Valencia through the flavours and aromas of traditional local gastronomic products from both places. This project is inspired by the importance of the two cities as centres of trade and exchange: Venice as the capital of Mediterranean trade, a bridge between East and West, and Valencia, already famous in the first half of the 14th century for the silk route and the merchant groups. Thus, the two points would be connected, establishing an exchange between the Mediterranean and the Adriatic, and between the Old and the New World.
Based on Miralda’s conceptualisation, Bombas Gens has involved Ricard Camarena to create with the artist a tapas tasting with healthy and local food. The execution was carried out by the Mediterráneo Culinary Center gastronomy school. The distribution, in collaboration with CdT (Turisme Comunitat Valenciana).
