Launch of Frank Gómez’s book Bombas Gens’s Photographic Project

The Per Amor a l’Art Foundation has just edited the book Bombas Gens’s Photographic Project: a collection of snapshots taken throughout the refurbishment of the building where Bombas Gens Centre d’Art is today. A project by the architectural photographer Frank Gómez who developed a series of documentary bodies of work of the old factory: when it was abandoned before the refurbishment, throughout the renovation, when the medieval cellar and the Civil War shelter were discovered, and today, already transformed into an Art Centre.

A text by the photographer as well as another signed by Paloma Berrocal, director of the archaeological intervention, accompany the photographs.

Designed by The Graphic Bureau, this trilingual publication (Valencian/Spanish/English) completes the first edition published in 2017, Histories of Bombas Gens, dedicated to the memory of a heritage building with great value. It compiles the material and immaterial accounts transmitted to us by those who inhabited the building.

Each book costs 10€ and can be acquired at the Art Centre’s reception desk or by sending an email to recepcio@bombasgens.com. If you buy them together the price is reduced to 15€.
