The building that hosts Bombas Gens Centre d'Art and Ricard Camarena was in the early 1900 a hydraulic bombs factory designed following the Art Déco trends. When Per Amor a l'Art Foundation started the refurbishment, a medieval wine cellar and an air-raid shelter from the Spanish Civil War were discovered.
What once was the factory backyard is now a modernist garden with more than 100 different species and a site-specific sculptural installation by Cristina Iglesias. A unique spot in València.
Per Amor a l’Art Foundation is a family based project full of dreams and sense of responsability. It all started with the need of share with society through Arts, medical research and social work. These aims take action in the historical venue that is Bombas Gens building, the foundation headquarters.
